I have loved photographing people since I got my first camera at the age of 16. I’m friendly and a bit goofy which are traits that come in handy as a portrait photographer. I adore dogs and children and I love getting to meet so many different people through my photography.
My 16 year old twins, our two dogs and I are happy to live in a diverse and inclusive neighborhood of Boston.
Recent commissioned major portrait project clients include: 826 Boston, a grant from the City of Boston Public Space Invitational, City of Boston/GrubStreet, Inc., Harvard Medical School, and a joint project for WGBH and the State of Massachusetts.
My portraits appear in the following published books: 85 Cents Might Not Sound Like a Lot; Attendance Would Be 100%; I Want You to Have This and I’m a Flame You Can’t Put Out, and several others, all published by 826 Boston and Streets of Echoes, book 5 of The Memoir Project published by the City of Boston and GrubStreet, Inc.
Photographs have appeared inThe New York Times; Oprah Magazine; Bark Magazine; and Houghton Mifflin textbooks. Author photographs appear in publications by Algonquin Books, Harcourt, Grove Press, Viking Penguin, Yale University Press, and Scribner.
